My gut is telling me no... but my gut is also very
A man named John ‘‘Homie’’ Prater began Thursday morning. When I stumbled onto this Saturday, he was climbing the peaks in the same order in which Cave Dog did back in 2000, so it was possible to directly compare their times, and there was a difference of only two minutes (there is lots of commentary on the 14ers.com thread) between them.

Homie ended his quest on Wednesday afternoon, having done 41 of 54 in just about a week, well ahead of record pace. Overuse injuries (more than 1) did him in. A VERY wise choice, given the technical difficulty of the range he had up next. Most, if not all, places in New England can be slogged up with injury, but a few 14ers are just too dangerous to risk under those conditions. Heck, I wouldn't even be able to walk, period! AMAZING feat.
