Polar Insulated Water Bottles

Anyone have any experience with these in winter? Will they keep water from freezing?

Was just pulling out my bulky OR bottle jackets and saw my insulated bottles from summer riding/racing. Certainly easier to pack/carry.

Anyone? Bueller?

An insulated biking water bottle may keep the water from freezing for a period because of the insulated base but the drinking "mouthpiece" is fully exposed and will likely ice right up making it pretty useless.

Gatorade bottles wrapped in closed cel foam have always worked well for me. They weigh a fraction of a nalgene and if the cap freezes I can easily get it into my big mouth to thaw it out.
