That's very sad. Sounds like they had a huge storm - 150 to 160cm of snow is 5 to 6'. I wonder if this is a normal snowfall for the Chic Choc's?

Not normal but not unheard of... the storm just grazed eastern NE early to midweek last week, then bombed out and absolutely clobbered the Maritimes. The recent pattern that gave NE the 20+ inch storm has continued to a certain degree. I'm not surprised some places got 150 cm. I'm guessing this is a 20-year storm for them. Sad story- hard to move anywhere with that much snow.
