Just to let folks know it is broken out. Took this trail to look for Mt Franklin in limited, but windless, visibility

Did you take the path to the col, and then go to Franklin? Did you bag Eisenhower while up there? Curious how the trail is from Col to Summit on Ike.
And especially interested in the stability of the steep rock slide to your left just before you get to the col.

Broke trail to Crawford Path and went left, north, at jct of Crawford Path. There were crampon tracks that followed the cairns which ended just past Franklin, so whoever made them came in from the south. I went back the way I'd come, didn't go up Ike. Here's pix on Edmands Path at treeline looking ahead
