No Access to Champney Water Falls from Monday July 18 through Friday August 5th 2016
There will be no access to the Champney waterfalls from Monday July 18 through Friday August 5th for loop reconstruction. The Champney Brook Trail WILL remain OPEN to Mt. Chocorua, Piper Trail and beyond with no restrictions. There are several other nearby options for those who wish to visit waterfalls including Sabbaday, Lower Falls (less effort) and Aruthsua Falls.
An earlier post had a more abbreviated schedule, but when the crew arrived they determined that a more lengthy closure was required.
