    Wildcat, Attitash Acquired by Vail

In another ski industry consolidation, Vail resorts is taking over Attitash and Wildcat ski areas (and Crotched Mountain).

Can we expect higher ticket prices and system wide season passes? Who knows!

I'd expect them to keep rolling out their cheaper seasons pass/higher 'window rate' program, along with their buying consecutive days (or 2 out of 3, 4 out of 7, etc. tickets) for a discount over the window rate. A season pass for ~$600 would probably be pretty popular.

Attitash used to have greart deals on Liftopia. I hope that doesn't change.

In general out in CO, the Liftopia deals for Vail properties were terrible. They reaaaally want you to buy the season pass.
