Thanks for posting the link. It's funny how one individual hike fostered such a response.

It's nice we get props every now and then but it does irk me a little that the reporter is just reporting the event and not experiencing it. It's easy to garner information from the site. Go out there and see for yourself what it's like. I'll step off my soapbox now.

The folks over at Northcountry News get all my respect because they have put on their backpacks and got out there to see what it's all about. They have joined me twice on Mt Jefferson in driving wind and a sunny day on Mt Eisenhower. I plan on letting them have first dibs on my photos this year since I am overdoing it a wee bit this year.
