Trails: Ski area to Wildcat ridge Trail via Stray Cat, Catnap and Polecat.
Comments: Saw Bryan's report from a few days earlier, which gave us the idea to hit the ski trails. Due to a later start than planned, we didn't go over to C or B or A. As Bryan suggested, we parked at Lot C. We agree that all lift attendants/hosts/staff and guests were very friendly. What they want is for people snowshoeing to keep to the far side of the trail and keep their groups small. If this became a popular thing for recreational snowshoers to do, the crowds would probably cause a change in the access.
Tips:
1) Get and bring a ski area map and note that ski trails are named at the top but not at the bottom.
2) Some folks skiing or riding like to cut corners close, so watch the blind turns, as they don't expect anyone to be coming up at 'em.
