Yea, you caught me. I decided to take a week and a half long trip out west JUST so I didn't have to stop and smell the roses. Why just decline for a reason of "another commitment" when I could tell you I'm going to the Colorado Rockies for a week and a half?!? lol!

Ok, so semi-bad news. I won't be able to join you guys on the Cranberry 50. It's bad new cause I can't go, it's "semi" because I'm going out to Denver for a week and a half to go hiking and mountain climbing. So hope you guys have a blast, and hopefully we can catch up on some other hike.

Yup, Lake Tahoe! I can't believe it myself!
We are sharing a three bedroom condo on the lake with six people total--so its actually pretty cheap, about $40 per person per night. We rented a car together, and split that too. So the big money items are really the airfare (flying into Reno) and our lift tickets -- skiing three days -- hitting Squaw and maybe Northstar and Heavenly. Basically we are going to be "conditions" Ho's and go with the gettin's good. I can't wait to ski at 9000 ft!!

hello! what's shaking? hmmm....going on vacation to Lake Tahoe California this saturday!!! And, I just got a root canal after work tonight. Guess ya gotta take the good wit da bad!!!

Well there's nothing much to say or do...besides read about more people and their silly, jealous-invoking, trip reports!

I'm not sure who I'm routing for. Steelers I guess, but if the Cardinals win then I won't feel so bad about the Eagles losing to them.

Not far (up hill) from the waterfall with a view of the lake and a fire pit. It's clean and it would sleep 6 easy with plenty of room for tents near by.

If you were to go left at the top of the trail we hiked up it's a 10-15 minwalk, I think.

I'm confused. I need a drink. It will not fix the confusion but I'll feel better about it, at least for a while.
