Stephen confirmed that flags were flown on all 48 4Ks last Saturday! Many of the pics are now posted:

Great job, everyone!
Re: pasties
:D
I like the the canned herring in Louisiana hot sauce. Plunk those down on some saltines...
I allso often do craisins, cheese, chocolate, pepperoni, dried fruit, etc..
I've never used them, and don't really have an inclination to try them...yet. I do get some knee pain on descents after a long hike, so maybe I'll give a single pole a try sometime. It would have to be very light and fully collapsable though. I don't think I'll ever have a desire to use them...
Sorry to hear you haven't had good experiences with the Kelty Back Country, percious. It's been fine for me, but I haven't used it on long hikes. To confirm, I did see it again at Costco this weekend. The price was $145.

You'll be there in spirit, ped. I couldn't particpate last year as my daughter was very sick at the time. There's always 2005 for you! Just concentrate on recovering.

You may notice the Flags on the 48 forum is no longer hosted on AlpineZone.com. This is because we've set up a dedicated Flags on the 48 Forum! Stephen (the8re) and I will be your co-administrators for this new forum and you can find it here:
