    Jackson Branch-Dog Friendly?: Webster-Jackson Trail

I'm thinking of doing the Webster-Jackson loop (summit Mt. Jackson first) and have read that there's some scrambling up the Mt. Jackson summit. Can anyone tell me if this is do-able for most dogs? I have 2 very agile Siberian Huskies but thought I'd ask. Thanks.

    Beyond Mt. Parker

I'm thinking about taking the Mt. Langdon & Parker trails to Mt. Parker, stopping for lunch with my Siberian huskies and going back. Would I be foolish not to continue onward to say Mt. Resolution? What are the additional distances/times for continuing on past Mt. Parker? Warren

    Mt. Osceola Trail (Main Peak)

Not having done this one before and with the weather forecasts looking decent for Thurs of this week, I'm thinking of getting out there. With all the rain we've had, are there any special stream or flood concerns I should be aware of? All I came across was a TR referencing slanted slabs which...

    MOAC? Looking for Hiking Partner(s)

I'm wondering if anyone here is a member of MOAC (Maine Outdoor Adventure Club) and if so, their impressions? I've seen many threads where a trip suggestion becomes a reality with many geographically dispersed folks; however, there's something to be said for knowing who's local (VFTT - Maine...

    Mt. Chocorua

I've never done Chocorua and since I'm in need of a mid-week work break, I'm interested in knowing if any of the trails (specifically Champney Brook, Piper, Liberty Brook) are better suited for our 4-legged friends. I'm inclined to go with Champney Brook and if I get an early enough start, to do...

    Edmands Path/Crawford Path/Ammonoosuc Loop

I'm interested in hiking this loop (up Edmands and down the Ammonoosuc). It looks about an 8 mile trek (+2 if no car-spot). Other than the necessary precautions like bad weather especially for the 2 mile stretch above timberline on the Crawford Path, is there anything I should be aware of...

    Edmands Path?

I'm interested in "dog-friendly" day hikes in the Whites / Westerm ME mtns. I've heard that Edmands Path is a good choice. Any comments or other suggestions? Warren
