Trails: Airline, Great Gulf, Valley Way, and Fallsway.
Conditions: Trails were in quite good shape, though a bit wet and some mud. Light rain made the half-mile scramble through the boulders on Adams summit cone somewhat slippery and slow-going. Bugs were not an issue due to cool weather, wind, and rain.
Equipment: Poles helpful, especially on the descent. I also used them on Adams summit cone, though their usefulness there may be debateable.
Comments: Quite a number of people out, despite the rain. Views were pretty good, all things considered. I highly recommend the Fallsway as an alternate route to or from Appalachia parking lot. It is only about a tenth of a mile more than taking Valley Way straight down, has easy footing, and passes several lovely little waterfalls.
