Date of Hike: June 1, 2013

Trail Conditions: The Basin Bushwhack trail is in great shape. One or two blowdowns that are easy to get over. The hardest part is finding the trail from the Bike Path! Flume Slide trail had several muddy spots before the slide. The slide had a lot of seepeage making for some wet and slippery footing in spots. Franconia Ridge Trail between Flume and Liberty and the Liberty Springs Trail back to the junction had no issues. No problems at the stream crossings.

Special Equipment Required: Nothing special required. Sunscreen was useful on the open summits. No significant bug problems on the trails.

Comments: Optional - A great day for this hike. Lots of people on the summits. Thanks to Trish, Hugh, Alex and Sage for letting me hike with them.
