Went up from York Pond in rain/slush/snow conditions. Wore snowshoes the whole way as we were barebooting deep within yards of the parking lot. Snow was very slushly. Trail is hard to follow on the higher elevations due to wind gusts and falling snow erasing tracks. About an inch of snow fell from our ascent to our descent and it was impossible to even find out trail on the way up. A few times it wasn't clear which way to go and thankfully in a few instances someone placed pine branches to block off the wrong path. Many snow-covered sapling branches are hanging over the trail frequently.
