Date of Hike: 29 JUN 2014
Trail Conditions: Hi-Cannon dry. Ladder rungs wearing but solid. Kinsman Ridge to Lonesome Lake Trail dry. Upper Lonesome Lake had some mud, easily rock-hopped. Around Lonesome Lake boardwalk high and dry. Lower Lonesome Lake dry.
Special Equipment Required: None, but I always use poles.
Comments: Optional - Started at 3pm, bugs no problem until Lonesome Lake, which I circled CCW for the views; didn't linger. Last tram leaves Cannon summit at 5:15 so you can get water at the cafeteria until then. Had a nice chat at the summit tower with a fellow from Maine working on his calendar grid, who just completed June, having climbed all 48 this month. Best of luck to him when he aims for the FKT later this summer. Hot and hazy but a good afternoon's hike.
