Cannon via Kinsman Ridge from the Tramway lot.
Snow conditions were good. Some soft spots up high but nothing to worry about. The last push up the summit from the viewpoint up was somewhat of a mess. Lots of spruce traps and soft snow. The route does not follow the Kinsman Ridge trail proper. It meanders around and at one point comes out on one of the ski trails and then ducks back a bit further up. Wore snowshoes all day up and back. Lots of glade skiers out today.
By the way... has anyone changed the battery in the smoke detector at the Lakes of the Clouds hut emergency shelter yet?
