Caps Ridge Trail is open and has been beautifully cleaned up. There is evidence of impressive trail work done to remove blowdowns and all brush has been cleared.

I went bird watching Saturday up as far as The Link. Highlights include Bicknell's thrush singing heard from Pothole rocks, Boreal chickadee, families of Gray jays with juveniles. Magnolia, Yellow-rumped, and Balckpoll warblers were abundant. Winter wrens, Yellow-bellied flycatchers, a Nashville warbler, junco, and Swainson's thrush, and White-throated sparrow were also out and singing.
