Trails: 19 Mile Brook Trail, Carter Dome Trail
Out to do some work on the Carter Dome Trail. Some significant water damage on the trail just before the 1st water crossing until the 2nd crossing of the same brook / tributary. It looks as if the water just flowed down the trail. Waterbars filled with rocks. Cleaned waterbars out as best I could. Many are delicate and way past their useful life. Hope to continue on to the switchback section soon. Chopped a few blowdowns and trees in the drainages. Overall, trail is in OK/passable condition. Care is needed in that section between the water crossings tho.
Nice to meet Kevin, Judy, and Emma and Blue on the trail. Lots of nice friendly folk out hiking on a beautiful October day.
