Dayhike to Katahdin/Hamlin on Sat. 8th March

Plan would be to start from Abol Bridge campground and take Abol trail up to Baxter Peak. This represents a 20 miles dayhike (12-16 hrs), 8 of which are a road walk unless we decide to ski it.

Hopefully trails will have been well packed down by Réjean's group and others on previous wks.

If weather unfavorable, trip would be postponed to 9th, 15th or 16th of March.

Group now complete. Will be at least 7.

Actually trip has been planned for 15th March.

Hoping the weather Gods will be with us on this one. Will post trip report.

I got a permit for the first three Saturdays in March depending on weather and we've now postponed it a second time. So, we're aiming for March 15, too.
