Trail: School House Mtn Rd to Round Hill to East Mtn Loop to School House Mtn. Rd. NY/NJ TC Map 103 of E. Hudson Trails
Condtions: 1-2 inches of snow, some ice, some leaves.
Equipment: I wore Microspikes. Other hiker bare booted.
Weather: sunny, 35 degrees.
Special Note: near where the southern end of the East Mtn Loop intersects with School House Mtn Rd.., there is a stream crossing. Water was high and the bridge was out. We bushwhacked upstream for about 20-30 minutes before we could rock hop and then bushwhack back to School House Mtn Rd. If we had bushwahcked downstream for maybe 2-5 minutes, we would have seen the new bridge. By then the trail goes back over the stream and we wouldn't have needed it.
