Here are 2 relatively new adventure books well worth reading.
The Ledge by Jim Davidson is about an accident on Mt Rainier. Some technical stuff on ice climbing, which I glazed over, but others on this board would probably find very interesting. I enjoyed reading about the author's life history and how he got to find himself on Mt Ranier.
The 2nd book is K2 by Ed Viesturs and David Roberts. This book talks about Viesturs' climb as well as numerous others who've attempted K2.
