Trails: Flat Mtn Pond Tr, Bennett Tr, Gleason Trail
Conditions: Mostly dry trail, several crossings east of the shelter required fording
Comments: Spotted a bike at Bennett St trailhead and hiked from Whiteface-Intervale Rd side. Saw a pair of bear run down the hillside ahead of me. All but one of the river crossings were to high to rock hop, fording was easy. Filled my pack with trash lying around the shelter. Made a quick redline trip up the short section of the Gleason Trail and back. The rivers and waterfalls on this trail are SO beautiful right now, had a great icy swim!
