conditions: lincoln woods had acouple of walk around mud spots. osseo trail the same' but easily avoided. the only wet stuff were after ladders on flats ,and the flats between mountains,
gear: poles nice for mud hoping, no bugs or rain.
comments: first time on trail, and what a treat to walk on dirt for 4 miles. it called for rain later in the day, got out at 1 no rain. saw a handfull of hikers enjoying the better than expected weather. nice views.
