Hancocks via Hancock Notch, Cedar Brk, Loop - 3/10/09

One inch of new snow over well broken trail. Wore snow shoes all the way up and over ridge and back to loop upper loop junction. Then barebooted out. No problems. A few blowdowns were easy to get over, go around, or go under. Snow bridges solid over most water crossings, otherwise easy to use rocks in water. Butt slid down North Hancock for much of the way.
