HighPeaks forum does the ADK 46 (plus McNaughton).

Finally, after 4 or 5 attempts during our annual winter gathering the members of the ADKHighpeaks hiking forum managed to put a team of hikers on each of the ADK-46 (plus Marc Howes on McNaughton and Paradox on Mt. Jo!).

As many had said, given the conditions, if we didn't succeed this year we never would.

In addition to this achievement we also raised something like $2500, which is future grant money for projects such as a summit steward salary, a firetower restoration project etc. etc.

The gathering also established other milestones: best party and best food ever assembled for a gathering pot-luck supper!

Fun in the Santa's

Hi Neil, We were out in the Santanoni's with a great bunch of forum members. We started 1-1/2 hours before them and we first ran into them as we were about half way down Panther. They finished maybe 1-1/2 hours before us too. We had a great day in getting all 3 but could not make the party. I don't know how they had the energy to do anything after that. Youths. Mike D.
