Trail Conditions: Hard frozen snow and ice. Below the Webster-Jackson trail split, it's mostly hard frozen snow with a couple ice flows. Above the trail split towards Jackson, there are a substantial number of long ice flows. Trail was packed out with snow shoes before the freeze so it's pretty smooth.

Special Equipment Required: Microspikes are the minimum. There's a lot of ice but also a lot of trees to grab. There's also enough cover and ice for crampons. Snowshoes not necessary. Off trail, snow is maybe 4 - 6 inches deep.

Comments: I didn't have time to get over to Webster. I hiked down to the waterfall on the Webster segment just after the trail split. This section of the trail was also packed out with snow shoes before the freeze.
