Setting up a shuttle, hiked south to north: Caps Ridge Tr. to Jefferson; Loop Tr., Gulfside, Israel Ridge and Lowe's Path to Adams; (short off trail rock hop to Sam Adams); Airline, Gulfside and Osgood Tr. to Madison; Valley Way, Lower Bruin and Brookside Trail on the descent out to Appalachia Parking area.
Trail Conditions: rocky, rocky
Comment: Our dog needed these peaks. Water can be found at Peabody Spring on Gulfside; Madison Hut spring runoff; and along Brookside. Other than that... carry plenty for you pup.
Also - the moose that lives up at Madison Hut made quite a showing around 3:00!
