Date of Hike - 5/22/11
Hike - Lafayette via Greenleaf out and back
Conditions - Greenleaf trail was in good shape overall. The only snow/ice was a few sections of the trail just past the cliffs but it was manageable/avoidable. There were a few blowdowns that were easy enough to get over or around. The trail up to the hut was wet from the rain but not really sloppy or muddy. Past the hut were a few more wet sections and then above treeline was all dry.
Special equipment - None
Comments - Weather turned out to be pretty nice. We were above the clouds on the summit. Bugs were out in force on top though. Lots of people on the trail, at the hut and on the summit!
