The SubSig Outing Club sent out seven of us to clean up the Mount Langdon and Mount Stanton Trails. We formed two crews and attacked the trails from either end, meeting in the middle where the accumulation of blowdowns was the heaviest. Hikers will now find the traverse much, much easier.

Over the winter, the bottom mile of the Langdon trail saw a lot of logging work. The old, narrow, leafy woods road is now a wide, ugly, muddy skidder highway. A few signs have been posted to help keep hikers on the "trail".
