Started from Basin parking lot, bushwhack to Liberty Spring Trail, and Franconia Ridge Trail to Liberty and Flume.
Absolutely gorgeous day - the last few Saturdays have been great. Today there were a few early morning clouds, but they soon disappeared.Barebooted to the tentsites then put on microspikes all the way to Flume. I switched to crampons at the top of Flume for the duration. Several blowdowns too large to remove without a large saw, but easy to go under. Saw about 8-10 people. I'm surprised more weren't out with such exceptional weather. It was great to meet Big Earl and Trail Trotter Sue on their way up Flume.
