Took the normal route up and back via Liberty Spring Trail. Weather conditions were not as bad as forecast, basically a beautiful snowshoe route on a cold winter day! On the return trip a large group used sleds to smooth and harden the trail. 
Even though there was zero ice I noted many people hiking in full crampons.
