A Corinth teen, first reported missing earlier this week, turned up in the woods in Greenfield.

State police said they think the girl got lost after wandering into the woods Monday night. She was first reported missing by her friends Tuesday.

State police set up a search team, but it was two teens on
four-wheelers who eventually found the girl.

Investigators said she spent Monday night, and most of Tuesday lost in the woods. She was taken to Saratoga Hospital where she's being treated for hypothermia.

Girl Saved Deep in the Woods
Tuesday's winter storm nearly took the life of a 17-year-old Saratoga County girl, had it not been for a pair of teenagers who found her deep in the woods. Search teams of police officers and K9 units were looking for Shaundra Willis for about 18 hours, but it was two boys, who just happened to be in the right place at the right time who found her. It is still unclear why Willis wandered into the thick woods of Cohen Road in Greenfield on Monday night, but she was unable to find her way out. The two boys who were checking out snowmobile trails, 14-year-old Justin Ramsey, and 16-year-old Craig Thomas, came across the shivering Willis on Tuesday afternoon. The boys say Willis was curled up in a ball, with snow beginning to pile up on top of her. They drove down to a state trooper who was parked nearby and brought him back to help rescue Willis. Willis is suffering from severe hypothermia and is in serious condition at Saratoga Hospital.


Funny I hadn't heard anything about this. But then again the power was out last night.

She turned out okay, but the older guy who bought the booze for their party got arrested. Those are the only details I remember.
