Trail is generally in great shape -- well constructed treadway, good drainage, nice rock work, and recently brushed & swizzled. Great work by local trail maintainers, big thumbs up.
Sucker Brook shelter is fully functional & water source is running well.
** Important -- Worth Mtn. Lodge at the Middlebury Ski Bowl, reported both in the LT guide and on trailhead signs as open for hikers, is CLOSED. Not only is it locked, barred, bolted and boarded; it is surrounded by an impressive amount of nail-studded lumber debris and broken bottle glass, and it is listing impressively on its foundation pilings. Do not count on shelter here!
