We took advantage of the great weather on Friday 12/22, the first full day of winter, to climb Madison and Adams. The temps were almost balmy, the winds nearly non-existent and the skies mostly clear -- it was the calm before the storm that rolled in later that evening.

Lucky Lucky You!!!!!!
I was suppose to welcome in the winter with a hike on Saturday but with the forecast of high winds and rain I decided it best to wait. A New Year's Eve day hike is now in the works : )
Great pics.

Awesome pics and man, I wish I could juggle :D

Adams and Madison look more thawed out than a few weeks ago... washington looks whiter. Crazy stuff ;)

Excellent photos - thanks for sharing!

What are you wearing for "belly" packs? They look to be just the right size.

Hi Fen-
We are both wearing ~ 20 year old Chuck Roast fanny packs. We find them incredibly convenient and their larger size allows us to carry a little more than a wet/dry rib or the like. We wear them attached to our pack's shoulder harness's. Try it -- you'll like it!
