Trail Conditions: Road to ravine lodge was hard packed snow. One blowdown with a 3 fut cut out section on the road. Gorge Brook also hard packed, barebooted to ~3700 Ft where I switched to 6 point crampons. Trail was a mixture of hard pack and drifting snow. Summit ridge is solid blue ice with a few sections of heavy drifts and a few sections of rime ice. One minor blowdown on the lower section of Gorge brook.

Special Equipment Required: full winter gear, needed goggles above tree line.

Comments: in the rapidly deteriorating conditions I used my GPSr to mark a waypoint every 100 steps. I didn't need it for descent but I liked the secuirut blanket. 40-50 MPH winds.
