Trails were well-packed throughout. Some minor blown in snow up high on the Carter-Moriah Trail. No serious blowdowns. All crossings solidly bridged.
Carter-Moriah Trail in both directions (south from Stony Br., north from Moriah summit) appeared broken out and a bit blown in. Not sure how far the breaking goes beyond what we could see.
We wore Microspike ST's car-to-car. Snowshoes not required but some traction useful.
Cold, clear, blue sky/white tree day, as beautiful as it gets.
When we prepared to stash our snowshoes to lighten our packs, Sarah questioned our collective manhood so we ended out carrying them all day.
Trip celebrated 38 years to the week from my first winter Whites ascent, on this route/mountain. Inspired a Trip Report. Yow!
