Anyone hiking from the carriage road:
"Notice The Department of Resources and Economic Development (DRED) will be doing an airlift on Tuesday Aug.11th to refill the Propane tanks on the summit of Mt. Belknap.
The Carriage road gate will be closed to vehicle traffic for the duration of the operation of the event. No time frame is given. Possibly all day.
Hikers in the vicinity must be aware and to avoid being in the way of operations on the summit.
Rain date will be the Tuesday the 18th. of Aug."
