This scramble has been on my list for a while due to the description of the summit climbs.. Considered moderate/difficult include climbing a chimney to summit. That’s my kind of climb!!

Again I was hiking solo today and the weather was iffy, but decided to go for it and hope for the best! I had perfect weather all day!!

This hike is close to Banff and starts right off the Bow Valley parkway. Follow a path for a while then it becomes a scramble up over lots of loose scree and boulders.

The North Peak and highest has the chimney climb, a couple options of chimneys and since I was solo climbing took the hip-width south facing one.
I climbed the chimney on the right in picture:

After summiting the North peak and enjoying the views I scrambled down the chimney and over to the Centre peak and signed the log. The South peak is the hardest and involves route finding and climbing up a small tunnel and finally topping out between two boulders. This was a little sketchy and I was looking back to make sure I knew the route back down..

It was a perfect day for hiking and managed to bag 3 fun peaks!
Sorry for all the posts...all fun hikes..I'm done now!!

tisk, tisk, don't you know its dangerous to hike solo in that type of terrain? ;)
I think I should accompany you on these trips to ensure your safety. :)
