Date of Hike: 6/7/09
Trail conditions: Muddy and wet. River crossings were not bad at all, several blowdowns to go over , under or around. Only 1 section of snow about 10 feet long on the Davis Path.
Comments: Trip started out on a sour note when we saw a baby bear dead on Rt 16 that had just been hit by a car. Saw 2 groups of people coming down the mountain who had spent the night. Then we saw 4 more people going up when we were coming down. Bugs were not a problem at all today. Great views and weather, another awesome day to be out hiking.
