Mt. Jackson via Crawford Path, Mizpah Cut Off, Webster Cliff Trail 5/20/2008

Trail conditions: Dry to 3000 feet then long stretches of snow

Equipment required: Poles useful for balance.

Trip Report: Off to a cool start. Trail had layer of light snow. The 1-2" on the trees quickly turned to a steady drip calling for waterproof jackets. Hit snow about 3000 feet. Had a good monorail most of the way up. Nice stretch of dry boards across the bog areas. Rocks at the top dry.
Coming down the snow had softened and a few postholed here and there.
No breeze, some sun, no bugs! A good day out with Gnugazelle, Silent Sam and other OTHH hikers.
