Date of hike- 3/28/2009
Trail was well packed no need for Snow Shoes but light traction needed. I carried Snow Shoes but never took them off my pack.I wore Micro Spikes the whole way and they were fine. Had to go over or under 3 blow downs. Met Rocket 21 on top and talked for about 10 minutes. Top was mostly bare. Very nice day blue sky and great views. On the way down I passed 14 people and only one was wearing SS. Met 2 guys at the parking area on 302 who had SS strapped on packs but told them no need for them so they left them in the car.
