Below is a complete trip report of my Moosilauke hike yesterday. We went up Glencliff and microspikes were definitely useful for the lower sections as well as right before the summit. We contemplated snowshoes and didn't bring them. We were the only ones on the trail that morning and were breaking trail so we could've used them. I think they're coming with me for the rest of my winter 4ks!

Great day with a lot of wind!

Great report and photos, Allison. I love Moosilauke. Some time when you're planning to hike another mtn and the forecast turns out perfect, do what I did with Washington in June and "sneak up" on Moosilauke. I got a perfect day for views there back in May, and it's special and worth the return trip. As it was, you got wonderful views, up close, of the mountain clad in lots of fresh snow, and plenty of pretty photos of it. Thanks for sharing them.
