Date of Hike – Sat. 1/12/2008
Conditions – Plenty of snow, but the trail was packed hard and topped with a hard layer of ice from the T/H to the summit.
Equipment – Traction was essential, especially for the 1st 1.5 miles and then on the return.
Comments – Trail conditions were actually much better then anticipated. In fact we really didn’t know what to expect after all the rain and warm temps. This trail is steeeeep! We used crampons for most of the hike. Did I mention how steep this trail is?
