Conditions: Tuckerman's had some snow and patches of ice most of the way to the turn off for Lion's head. It was a little slick so we put microspikes on about 5 minutes in. Lions Head has a little new snow, some ice, some bare ground. We started in spikes and switched to crampons at the steep section and kept them on until the top of Lions head, then back to microspikes. Would have been fine to stay in microspikes the whole time.

Special Equipment: Some traction definitely useful, although some people were barebooting. Carried ice axe but didn't come off the pack.

Comments: Absolutely perfect weather. Blue skies, views forever, and for the first time in my experience there was not a breath of wind at the summit. Great day to be out.
