Trail Conditions: Trail is in great shape all around- no blowdowns, solid footing, dry enough. Some wet/ muddy areas near beaver ponds and waterfalls are easily rock hopped. Lingering snow is almost nil. All but one slushy monorail is gone and that one was short- three steps and its done.
Special Equipment Required:None. okay to pack away the microspikes.
Comments: My first official stay at a hut. I went with an AMC family group. 'Brought our 3 year old who was able to hike up herself- to the hut. I quickly hiked Zealand solo during her afternoon nap. Great weekend. Happy Mother's Day to all the moms.
