*Volunteers Needed for National Trails Day in the Catskills***

The Adirondack Mountain Club (ADK) is celebrating National Trails Day in the
*Catskill Forest Preserve* on Saturday, June 7, 2008. Volunteer trail crews
led by experienced ADK leaders will spend the day maintaining sections of
trail throughout the Catskills.

Volunteers will meet at designated trailheads at 8:30 A.M. and will work
until midafternoon. Tools will be provided by ADK. At the end of the work
day, trail volunteers are welcome to join together for a well-deserved
barbecue dinner including T-shirts, raffles and live music. Volunteers can
also camp free at North-South Lake State Campground on Friday and Saturday
nights.

Preregistration is required, and we ask that volunteers register at least
two weeks in advance.

To register for National Trails Day projects, please call 518-523-3441 or
visit our Web site at www.adk.org/trails/National_Trails_Day for a
registration form. *Details and directions will be mailed to registered
volunteers.*
