Well some of you may know that I spent 3 weeks this summer backpacking with a friend in the Sierras. She was updating the JMT trail guide which will be available in June.

Oooh! Aaaah! And I just happen to be planning a thru-hike of the JMT this coming summer. Thanks for the info.

(I'm not sure I'd consider the JMT to be "America's most famous trail," however. Wouldn't that be the Appalachian Trail? Guess it's a matter of opinion!)

I'm also hoping to try California's most famous trail in the next year or two.
