Fellow VFTTrs Can you help in this survey to gather information on Volunteer efforts within NH Parks, be it Trail maint. or in other efforts.

Hello:
We hope you will take a few minutes to complete this on-line survey for the State Parks System Advisory Council’s sub-committee on Volunteers and Friends Groups. Your confidentiality is assured and candid comments are welcome. Please know that we want to hear from ALL of you, and that your responses are very important. Please also feel free to forward this to other individuals you may know of who volunteer for the NH Division of Parks and Recreation.
This questionnaire is designed for volunteers in the NH Division of Parks and Recreation as a way for the State Parks System Advisory Council to gather information and make recommendations about strengthening and improving volunteer service within the parks system. The Advisory Council, under RSA 216-A:3-k), was appointed in 2007. The council’s charge includes the following: “Investigate the development of new incentives to encourage non-profit clubs, “friends groups,” or other individuals or organizations to assist with construction, maintenance, scientific research, visitor services, and other activities required for the efficient operation of the state parks system.”
This survey will additionally allow us to channel volunteer resources more productively. Both new and increased collaboration with volunteers is central to the 10 Year Strategic Plan and will help support a meaningful renaissance of state parks.
