Trails: Hancock Notch to Cedar Brook to Hancock Loop trail
Conditions: Well packed snow shoe trail. Traction needed on steep slopes. Water crossings were passable with caution.
Equipment needed: Snow shoes for ascent, and we used crampons coming down the steep parts.
Comments: Nine hiking sisters led by Anne Gwynne made the summit. Since the hour was getting late, and clouds were rolling in, we decided not to attempt the loop. Four other hikers also on the Hancocks on Friday.
