Via York Pond Trail: which was wet and muddy in the beginning and a board over the dam was missing most likely cause it was broken..but crossed with no wet boots...next crossing done easily without the bushwack around it..all others done without getting wet...Kilkenny Ridge Trail: lots of blowdowns, over, under and many around but what a great forest and vegetation...kudos to the builders of this nice trail...nice easy footing too not many rocks and not much erosion!! clear sailing from Waumbek summit to the parking area off of Rt. 2..lots of folks on Waumbek summit..as stated in earlier report spruce grouse male, displaying, that was our second one of the day!!
